I bet you've never had pickled eggs with a kick like this before!

There are plenty of ways to prepare eggs, but we think this recipe really shows how versatile they really are! The combination of turmeric, garlic, and apple cider vinegar makes this excellent source of protein a tasty snack. You can also serve it as an appetizer or side dish! INGREDIENTS

2 Tsp Turmeric, ground
1 Tsp Kosher Salt
2 Garlic cloves, minced
Pinch Red pepper flakes
A few Black Peppercorns
1 Cup Apple cider vinegar
1/3 Cup Water
6 Boiled eggs, cooled and peeled
2 Shallots, thinly sliced

DIRECTIONS

Combine the turmeric, kosher salt, shallots, garlic cloves, red pepper flakes, and peppercorns in a large bowl.

Warm the vinegar and water in a pan until just simmering.

Pour the warm liquid over the bowl of pickling ingredients and let the mixture come back down to room temperature.

Once it has cooled off, add the eggs to the brine and let them "pickle" in the fridge for at least an hour, or up to a few days.
