Flavor-packed poppers make for perfect party food!

Turkey poppers are always a hit, no matter the event, but finding a delicious low-carb option can sometimes feel like a challenge. Thankfully, our take on this party favorite cuts the carbs and adds amazing flavor in its place! Quick and easy to make, and featuring a delicious medley of spices (not to mention nutritious zucchini), you’re sure to be going back for seconds, if not thirds!

INGREDIENTS

1 Pound Ground turkey
2 Cup Zucchini, Grated
2 Green onion, Sliced
4 Tbsp Cilantro, Minced
1 Garlic clove
1 Tsp Sea salt
1/2 Pepper
1/2 Tsp Ground cumin
2 Tsp Grape seed oil
1 Egg

DIRECTIONS

Step 1 - turkey zucchini poppers

Mix the turkey, zucchini, egg, green onion, cilantro, garlic, salt, pepper, and cumin together in a medium-sized bowl.

Over medium heat, warm up oil in a large pan. Use a tablespoon to scoop out the mixture and roll it into round pieces. Place the meatballs into the pan.

Cook the meatballs in total for approximately 8 to 10 minutes. Cook 5 to 6 minutes before flipping them and then cook for another 4 to 5 minutes.
