Did you know?

We’ve spoken before about the health benefits of shrimp, but did you know asparagus has a ton of nutritional value that translates into tangible benefits for your body and mind? The high amount of folate present in asparagus is used by the body to help prevent the build-up of homocysteine. An excess of homocysteine can prevent the production of serotonin and dopamine, hormones vital to better moods and better sleep. So the next time you’re feeling down, try eating asparagus!
