Spicy, savory shredded chicken that cooks while you get on with your day!

This fantastic medley of Mexican-inspired spices and tastes make shredded chicken a delicious family meal everyone can enjoy, and features our low-fat, low-carb take on delicious Marinara sauce – make sure you use it to make the most of this recipe! Best of all, you set it to cook and can get on with your day – just make sure you’ve got a timer!

INGREDIENTS

2 Pounds Chicken breast, boneless, skinless
1 Cup Marinara sauce, ,Janeva's or low carb
1/2 Cup Water
1 Tbsp Onion powder
2 Tsp Garlic, minced
2 Tsp Cumin powder
2 Tsp Coriander
1/2 Tsp Sea salt
1/4 Tsp Pepper
1 Tbsp Chili powder

DIRECTIONS

Mix all ingredients (except chicken) together in a medium-sized bowl to create your sauce.

Poor half the sauce into a slow cooker and add the chicken breast. Top with remaining sauce.

Cook on high for 4 hours, or on low for 6 hours.

When done, shred chicken directly in the slow cooker with 2 forks.

Mix well to combine chicken and sauce.

Serve in lettuce wraps.
