Easy halibut recipes will impress dinner guests every time!

Looking for the rich flavor of halibut? Look no further! Succulent halibut and shrimp are infused with saffron and basil in easy halibut recipes such as this one that also incorporates cherry tomatoes. Really, you can’t find easy shrimp recipes quite like this – or at least not one that’ll taste quite as delicious!

INGREDIENTS

3 1/2 Oz Halibut
3 1/2 Oz Shrimp
2 Cup Cherry tomatoes
2 Tbsp Fresh basil, chopped
1 Pinch Saffron
1 Oz Water
1 Vanilla bean, sliced in two
1/4 Tsp Grape seed oil

DIRECTIONS

Heat up a non-stick pan with grape seed oil and add 2 cups of cherry tomatoes. Season them with salt and pepper, and allow them to roast for approximately 30 seconds.

Next, add the shrimp and halibut at the same time. Halibut meat can be fairly fragile, especially when sliced as in this recipe, so go easy on the mixing and tossing in the pan. Allow the shrimp to cook and the halibut to sear.

Next, pour the fresh saffron in evenly and add about an ounce of water to help distribute the flavor.

Finally, add the chopped basil and let it cook gently. By this point, the halibut and shrimp should be perfect and ready to go!
