Try a Portobello bun burger for a healthier take on a family favorite!


1 Tsp Grape seed oil
1 Garlic clove, minced
1 Tsp Oregano
2 Portobello mushrooms
5 Oz Extra lean ground beef
1 Small egg
1 Tbsp Dijon mustard

Preheat your grill to high.

In a medium sized bowl, combine oil, garlic, oregano, sea salt and pepper.

Now, clean the mushrooms by scraping out the “gills” and coat with mixture; set aside until ready to cook the beef.

In a separate bowl, combine ground beef, Dijon, egg, salt and pepper; make a patty.

Now, place Portobello mushroom caps on the grill and let cook for approximately 8 minutes or until heated through.

Then add burger to the grill and cook for 6 minutes on each side or until desired; remove mushroom and burger.

Place the burger between the two Portobello "buns" and top with your favorite toppings!
