Did you know?

Pineapples are typically grown in Southeast Asia. If you wanted to get them from the US, you’ll be surprised to find out that Hawaii is the only state in the U.S. that grows this juicy fruit.

It takes approximately three years for a pineapple to reach maturation.

Once a fruit is harvested it will generally ripen after a couple of days. However, pineapples will not continue to ripen once harvested. A green pineapple can be just as tasty as a golden brown one.

Pineapples are said to improve eye health and prevent age-related eye deficiencies such as macular degeneration This occurs when a part of your retina is damaged and you lose your central vision.
