7 Oz Ground turkey
2 Large Iceberg lettuce leafs, whole
1 Cup Mixed bell peppers, chopped
1/2 Cup Red onions, minced
2 Tbsp Water
1/2 Cup Tomato coulis
1/4 Cup Coriander, chopped
1/4 Tsp Garlic powder
1/4 Tsp Cumin powder
1/4 Tsp Chili powder
1/4 Tsp Paprika
1/4 Tsp Oregano
1/4 Tsp Grape seed oil

step #1

Heat up a non-stick pan with grape seed oil before adding the ground turkey. Stir and allow the turkey to cook evenly.

step #2

When the turkey is halfway cooked, mix in your dry herbs and spices to incorporate their flavors.

step #3

Next, add in your chopped or diced bell peppers along with two tablespoons of water, allowing everything to simmer until the water evaporates.

step #4

When the water has completely evaporated, remove the turkey from heat and allow it to cool down. As the turkey cools, chop your fresh coriander leaves and add them your tomato coulis, setting it aside in a small bowl.

step #5

It's time to prepare your wraps, so roll the turkey mix in fresh lettuce leaves and top with onions.

step #6

Ready to serve!

Did you know?

Coriander is considered both an herb and a spice as both its seeds and leaves are used as a seasoning. The seeds are often ground into a powder that has a unique citrus and sage taste and scent, while the leaves are chopped up. You might know coriander leaves by their more common name of cilantro, however! Coriander is high in vitamin K and has properties that have been shown to help reduce hypertension and blood pressure levels.
