That’s why our low-fat low-carb Lemon Chicken with Asparagus recipe keeps it simple – after all, they’re classics for a reason!

8 Oz Chicken breast, Boneless skinless, cut horizontally
1/2 Tsp Sea salt & pepper, To taste
2 Tsp Lemon pepper, Seasoning
2 Cup Asparagus, Chopped
1 Lemon, Sliced
Fresh parsley, Topping

Cut the chicken breast horizontally to make 2 thinner pieces and season with sea salt and pepper.

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, then add the chicken and sauté for 3-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Sprinkle each side with the lemon pepper directly in the pan. When the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, transfer to a plate.

Add the chopped asparagus to the pan. Sauté for a few minutes until bright green and tender crisp. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Place the lemon slices flat on the bottom of the pan and cook for a few minutes on each side without stirring so that they caramelize and deglaze the pan.

Plate your chicken on a bed of asparagus, and garnish with your cooked lemons.
