28 Oz Tomatoes, peeled
2 Tbsp Tomato paste, no sugar added
1/2 Tsp Red pepper flakes, crushed
1 Tsp Onion powder
1 Tsp Garlic powder
1 Tsp Basil
1 Tsp Oregano
1 Tsp Parsley
2 Tbsp Italian Dressing, low fat low carb
2 Tbsp Olive oil
Drain tomatoes. (The juice is not needed unless a thinner sauce is desired).
Place all ingredients in a blender; blend until tomatoes are pureed. Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary.
Pour mixture into a medium sauce pan and bring to a low boil. Immediately turn down to low heat; simmer for 25 - 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Refrigerate sauce until use.
