You'll start by adding 1 inch of water to a medium-sized saucepan.
Add the steamer basket over the water, and place your green beans in the basket.
Bring the water to a boil over high heat.
When the water starts to boil, reduce the heat to medium and cover your beans.
Steam for approximately 8 – 10 minutes.
In a frying pan, heat olive oil on medium/medium-high heat.
Once the oil is hot, add garlic, ginger, and soy sauce to the pan. Stir to mix your ingredients.
Once your beans are steamed, add them to the pan and sauté until the beans are heated through and slightly wilted.
Ready to serve!
