INGREDIENTS

7 Oz Beef flank steak, with chives, sea salt & pepper
2 Cup Tomato, broiled
1/4 Tsp Grape seed oil
2 Tsp Chives
1 Tsp Garlic powder

DIRECTIONS

Heat up a non-stick pan with grape seed oil. The trick to a perfect sear every time is a hot pan, and using grape seed oil means you can maintain a high temperature without worrying about burning.

Gently slice across the top of your flank steak to help the seasoning work into the meat, and season with chopped chives, sea salt, and pepper.

Sear the steak in the hot pan, flipping halfway through to cook both sides. Flank steak doesn't take much more than 7 minutes to cook, so be sure to keep an eye on it. Don't overcook, as it will become tough and chewy.

Plate the steak with sliced fresh tomatoes, or, alternatively, cool roasted tomatoes - top your tomatoes with garlic powder, and finish the plate with fresh chopped chives.
