Did you know?

Anchovies are an excellent source of Omega-3 fats. This type of fat is responsible for maintaining the overall health and function of the cells in your body, particularly fatty tissues in your brain, nervous system, and eyes. You can also expect high levels of iron, calcium, and zinc from anchovies. For such a small fish, these guys pack a nutrient-rich punch!

One thing to watch out for is their sodium content as most cured anchovies are heavily salted to ensure they stay preserved.
