Did you know?

Cucumbers come from the same botanical family as melons, and are packed with vitamin K. Vitamin K gets its name from the German word koagulation, which has been loaned to the English-speaking world as coagulation – blood clotting! That’s right, vitamin K is a must for your blood to clot and coagulate when you get a cut, helping you heal up properly. Beyond that, it’s a great nutrient for supporting better bone health. So eat some cucumbers to prevent broken bones!
