Did you know?

The capsaicin found in hot peppers (a must for any good hot sauce!) has a notable effect on potentially cancerous cells in the body. When capsaicin comes into contact with cancerous cells, it forces them to undergo apoptosis. Apoptosis is, to put it bluntly, cellular death. More research is needed to figure out exactly how this effect can be harnessed in the fight against cancer. In the meantime, capsaicin is a notable topical pain relief and works wonders at helping clear sinuses.
