Did you know?
Portobello Mushrooms are a good source of copper. Your body needs copper to produce red blood cells and carry oxygen throughout the body. These mushrooms also contain potassium, which helps maintain a normal heart rate and muscle and nerve function.
A tip for cleaning portobello mushrooms after removing the stem is to scrape off the gills with the tip of a spoon. This will ensure they don’t stain the cap or your hands, as they can give food an unappealing brown color.
