This crisp, savory vegetable is perfect for healthy low-carb fries!

As hard as it can be to give up french fries, really, all you need to give up are carb-heavy potatoes. Finding amazing (and delicious) substitutes opens you up to a world of amazing flavors and textures. Our Baked Jicama Fries are a fantastic swap for starchy potatoes. Loaded with flavor, you’ll be wishing you made these fries sooner!

INGREDIENTS

1 Jicama, peeled and cut into fries
2 Tsp Grape seed oil
Sea salt & pepper, to taste
1 Tbsp Parsley, chopped

DIRECTIONS

Start by cutting jicama into your preferred fry shapes.

Place them in a resealable bag and toss with grape seed oil, sea salt, and pepper.

Spread fries out evenly on baking sheet.

Bake for about an hour (or longer if you prefer crispier fries) at 375°F. Remove from oven and garnish with parsley.
