Did you know?

Lotus is a fantastic ingredient that’s been used in many Asian cultures both as a food item and as a part of cultural practices and medicine. Containing both complex carbohydrates (the good kind of carb) and a great amount of fiber, lotus has been linked to lower blood sugar and cholesterol as it helps manage the level of these two things. It’s also a great source of vitamin C (something we all need a bit more of) and has been shown to help relieve inflammation in the body.
