Isn’t this crazy? So many ailments people treat with “traditional” medicine, and much of it is from the underlying issue of yeast overgrowth in the gut and poor digestion.
The reason people continue to have issues is because of undigested food in the gut and that becomes toxic in the small intestine, then those leak out into the “gut” and back comes the ARMY of yeast! To break the cycle, the body needs help to eat the extra yeast like “pacman” and that happens with good probiotics and enzymes.
I have been taught that yeast tends to HIDE in a cellulose coating, so when we take digestive enzymes with a probiotic on an empty stomach, it can eat up the coating like a “pacman” sneaking up on it, devouring it, exposing what’s left to the friendly bacteria and immune system. 75% of our immune system is in our small intestine.
In our modern sugar ridden world many of us can be overrun with yeast. They can be hard to eliminate. We are vulnerable to getting overrun, I’m taught, because we lack abundant friendly bacteria in our gut. I’m taught many things kill probiotic in the body: antibiotics, excess sugar, excess salt, medications, birth control pills, stress, caffeine/coffee, etc – so I always use probiotics as part of my preventive approach.
Just taking probiotics may readily not be the solution to eliminating an overgrowth if we’ve already got too many. So, I use a combination of enzymes and probiotics in between meals. It can be used with other yeast killers or alone.
I’m taught yeast thrive on undigested carbs/sugar. Chewing your food really well, minimizing carbs, and using enzymes with every meal, along with a good probiotic are all good habits to help your gut get well and improve your immune system.
Once you get your body eliminating better, you will probably see your weight loss continue. I have seen this over and over again in my health clinics. It is remarkable how clients give me such positive feed back after they have gone on an enzyme/ probiotic regimen. In particular, they are amazed how fast their sugar cravings go away, usually in the first week or two.
Next time you have a stall on the scale, look at your gut health, and try to improve that!
