I know that the “Drinking Man’s Diet from many years ago was basically a low-carb diet. The take on that is the same.
Limit alcohol to hard white spirits (vodka, gin, rum). No more than 2 drinks per day (2 ounces). No mixers with sugars or high carbs.
That cuts out all fruit juices and soft drinks. Unless you think Aspartame is a good thing. That pretty much leaves you with water and soda water. If you can find Fresca that does not taste too bad as a mixer. You may have to just get used to it.
FYI…Tonic Water is loaded with carbs, even though it does not taste like it.
