Thanks so much for sharing your story with us and Kim. We agree that low-fat food labels are often misleading. Stick to whole foods, always, and aim to get your carbs from lots of vegetables. We also like olive oil, but make sure that you are getting your omega 3s to help balance to ratio of omega 3:omega 6. Foods like flax, chia, hemp and fresh water fish will give you lots of omega 3s.
