Fatty acids can be categorized as monounsaturated or polyunsaturated (both of which you should aim to increase in your diet), saturated (which you should aim to limit), or Trans fat (which you should aim to eliminate) based on their chemical structure. Every type of fat impacts your overall health in vastly different ways.
Now, our name may have given it away, but all of the recipes developed by LowFatLowCarb support a low-fat, low-carb diet. In addition, the carbs and fatty acids that we do incorporate into our recipes are those we deem to be high quality and good for your health.
It’s important to note that the terms “low fat” and “low carb” are subjective, and will mean something different for every individual. While you may be able to incorporate a few portions of carbs into your diet, someone else may find this detrimental to their overall health. That’s why all of our recipes can be modified to suit any meal plan or personal preference.
