Life is short. Don’t waste it! Do what makes you happy and forget about the rest. It is just not worth it.
Be passionate, be optimistic, be upbeat and get excited about life! The sooner you do so, the sooner you will have a happy mind, body and soul. Did you know that genuinely happy people experience life with stronger hearts, fitter bodies, healthier brains and tend to live longer? So, why doesn’t everyone get onboard? It is easier said than done. I myself was once a Negative Nancy. Life’s challenges brought me down and I often let them steal my energy and joy.
There is good news though! You can train your mind to have a better outlook on life! Just like you train to eat healthy and stay fit. All you need is a plan and practice! Simple, right?
Guide yourself to a happy state of mind when you face a tough or stressful situation. It will take time but, as you go along, it will get easier! Within no time, you will be the happy and healthy person you want to be. Here are some tips on how to get there:

Let go of what doesn’t matter

Pick your battles and don’t sweat the little stuff. Just let it go, take a deep breath and move forward. Sometimes we tend to dwell on things that really have no importance.

Have trust in faith

Believe that everything happens for a reason. When one door closes, another one opens. Keep going. No matter the difficulties that you may face, trust that there is a path, simply follow your heart and continue in the right direction.

Watch what and how you say it

It is possible that you could be responsible for your own unhappiness. Think about how you speak sometimes. Do you often rant about situations? Do you talk in a pessimistic tone? Do you gossip? Think about it… You may be surprised as to how negative your dialogue is. When you talk, be as pleasant as can be. As we teach our children, if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say it at all. Most adults tend to forget this lesson!

Look on the bright side

There will always be somebody somewhere who is having a worst day than you. So, be content with the fact that it could be worst. One small positive thought in the morning can change your whole day!

Stay away from the negativity

Don’t let negative people get the better part of you. Brush off the trash talk and change the subject; perhaps you could brighten their day instead! Remaining in negative surroundings is a heavy weight that you do not need!

Be grateful for what you have

Instead of wishing your life away, think of all the good in your life. Be thankful for what you have because some may not have the same luxuries as you do.

Cheer up buttercup! You have so much to live for! Get rid of Negative Nancy and say hello to Positive Patty! It’s your time to love your life!
